Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Add mashed sweet potato and black beans to bowl and mash the black beans with the sweet potato until only about half the black beans remain “whole” looking.
Add in oat flour, salt, paprika/sriracha, onion powder (or minced onion*), and garlic powder to the bowl. Mix until fully incorporated.
Split dough into six even chunks and form them into circular patty shapes, making sure to press them together well as you’re forming them. Place the patties on parchment paper or silicone baking mat. Place in oven for 45-60 minutes until golden on both sides (flip patties about 25 minutes in). Enjoy!
*can sub for 1/4 minced onion, but bake for 5-10 minutes longer to allow for more evaporation
